Obituary

William "Bill" Edward Cookerly, age 92, passed away on May 9, 2023.  He was the dear son of the late Glen Harp and Martha (nee Pankratz) Cookerly , beloved husband of the late Eleanor (nee Tuckey), cherished father of Brian Cookerly and his wife, Terri, adored grandfather of Michael Cookerly and Katie Parks and her husband, Alex and loving great grandfather of Noah Parks.

Bill attended the Poly Technical High School.  He spent his career as a planner for the Baltimore Gas and Electric Company.  Among his many interests, he was an avid hunter, fisherman, gardener and golfer.  He was also a member of the Woodworkers Guild of Anne Arundel County, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 10-12 noon where services will immediately follow at 12:00. Interment is at Cedar Hill Cemetery at 1:00.

Bill will truly be missed....
