On May 13, 2022, William Thomas Broderick, "Tom," passed after struggling with cancer. He was 63.
Born in Georgia to William Joseph and Edith Lorraine Broderick he would live in Louisiana and come to Maryland in 2009. Tom who was a disabled veteran served in the United States Army with the 82nd Airborne Division, 2/505 ABN Battalion, as a Paratrooper as well as the 2nd Battalion 72nd Armor Division, as a heavy mortar crewman while stationed in Korea. He spent several years studying Business Administration at Montgomery Troy College where he also learned the trade of Gunsmithing and Taxidermy. He enjoyed working in his craft and reloading ammunition, liked to fish and kayak and was an avid consumer of Fox News. He also enjoyed movies on Netflix and Hulu. He favorite hobby though was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Tom is survived by his dear wife of 14 years, Merle Lorraine Price-Broderick (nee Parr) as well as his step-daughter Penny Williams and husband Robert and daughter Ashley Broderick. He will be cherished in the memories of his loving grandchildren James Henderson and fiance' Shelby Hensen, Ashley Henderson and fiance' Nathan George and Audumn Brown. His legacy continues in his great-granddaughter Emily George.
