Tilghman Frederick Bryan

Tilghman Frederick Bryan, age 79, passed away on February 11, 2018.  He was the beloved husband of 58 years to Helen Lillian Bryan, dear father of Todd T., Randall K. and Garrett T. Bryan and Colleen Kelly, devoted grandfather of Chasidy Marie Knight and Amberly Ann Bryan and cherished great grandfather of Danika Knight.
Tilghman was born in Baltimore City, MD in 1938 then relocated to the Glen Burnie area where he resided since 1947. He worked as a Mate on the "Blanche Rogers" tug boat, then he was the Captain of the harbor tug, "Bristol".  He was employed by the Anne Arundel County Police Department as a patrol officer for 20 years before being promoted to Detective Corporal for 9 years and retiring in 1992.
Among his many interests, Tilghman enjoyed participating in car shows with the "Lost in the 50's" Car Club, traveling to Virginia, Pennsylvania and Ocean City, displaying his 1937 Ford Street Rod and 1972 Chevelle Convertible, winning over 70 awards and trophies, but more than anything else, he loved spending time with his lovely wife and family.
Tilghman touched many lives and will truly be missed.....
