Sadly, on April 17, 2020, Stephen Robert Johns, Sr., passed in the company of his loving family. He was just 67.
Born the son of Robert and Irma (nee McDorman ) in Baltimore, he would be a life long Glen Burnie resident.
Stephen was married to his dear wife since 1987, Susan Ann (nee Hyland) and together they set roots and raised a family. During this time Stephen worked first as a printer, then chose the career of driving a truck for a drywall manufacturer He retired after 20 years of service.
During his leisure time he enjoyed coaching baseball for Harundale Little League but his true passion was for horses. Time spent at Reverie Farm was a big part of Stephen's life. He was a "farm hand" in every sense of the word. He was very knowledgeable about, enjoyed riding and loved caring for the horses an outpouring of his love of all things western. He also road iron horses. Stephen was quite talented mechanically and even built his own trike motorcycle. Like so many Marylanders, he had a passion for the Orioles and Ravens and would enjoy watching WWE wrestling. Owing to his prior honorable military service, he was a member of American Legion Post 40.
Finally but not least, he was a loving husband , dedicated father and a devoted grandfather and beloved "mama's boy" to his late mother.
Surviving are his dear children Jennifer-Ann Helen Bunn and significant other Brad Blackwell, Stephen R. ,Jr. and wife Kristina and Wayne Lewis and his significant other, Liza Fredlund.
He will be deeply missed by his cherished grandchildren, Drayk, Anthony and Austyn Bunn, Gabriel Atwell-Johns and McKinzly-Ann Johns, Triton and Calder Johns , Brendon and Dylan Lewis.
