On June 16, 2021, Peggy Lorraine Wagner, (nee' Grieves) passed surrounded by her loving family. She was 93.
She was born in Baltimore, the daughter of William T. and Ellanora (nee' Mack) Grieves and was a lifelong resident of Maryland. Sadly, she is the last of the Grieves' of her generation.
Peggy had worked briefly in her lifetime at a Christmas decorations manufacturing facility. She was truly fond of this work, however her dedication was to making a home and raising her family. She was a devoted wife of the late "Pete" Wagner with who she enjoyed 66 blissful years of marriage. In that time Peggy and Pete renewed their vows 3 times. "Pete" truly was her life. Together they enjoyed car rides and going to the Glen Burnie Moose Club 1456 where they were members for many years.. She like to crochet and read but her heart was always with her family.
Surviving Peggy are her beloved daughters, Josephine Phillips and husband Robert, Donna Zentgraf and spouse Thomas, Nancy Porter and husband Robert, Sharon Zentgraf and spouse Albert and Ellanora Moss and husband Steve. Peggy joins her dear son Joseph Wagner in eternity.
Her legacy will continue in her loving grandchildren Angela Bentzen, Thomas Zentgraf, Jennifer Robinson, Stephanie Riggleman, Robert Phillips, Anna Bell, Jason Zentgraf, Joshua Wagner, Jessica Gareis and David Phillips. Peggy will be fondly remembered by 17 great-grandchildren. She will be missed by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and dear friends.
Flowers are appreciated but donations are strongly suggested to Partners In Care at partnersincare.org. in Peggy's memory. She was a beneficiary of, supported and has family who work as Partners In Care, an organization dedicated to helping older adults live and thrive independently.
