On March 30, 2021, Ok S. Holland passed following a brief illness. She was 77.
Born in Daegu, South Korea, Ok would come to live in the United States since 1965. A dedicated family woman, she kept both, a home and worked, as an Associate at Burlington Clothiers. Ok was known by her co-workers as a hard worker who was always sweet and was liked by all who had the pleasure of her friendship. In her leisure time, she enjoyed taking care of a home aquarium and liked to knit and sew. Ok found joy in taking care of a 27 year old African Grey Parrot named "Angel." She could often be found on walks with her friend riding along on her shoulder. It was said that "Angel" was not as much of a pet for her, as she was "Angel's staff." Ok was also fond of her cockatiel "Sam." She was a loving mother and grandmother and a friend of many.
Surviving Ok is her beloved daughter Amanda Elizabeth Maminski and husband William Jr., and Nancy Marie Holland. Her legacy will continue through the memory of two cherished grandsons, Evan Alexander and Joshua William Maminski. Mrs. Holland was dedicated to her husband Richard Thomas Holland even in their estrangement.
She will be sorely missed.......
