Sadly on February 16, 2023, Nicholas Bruce Hampe, know to those who love him as "Nick," passed, surrounded by his loving family, following a long illness bravely borne. He was just 33.
Born the son of Bruce Norman and "Debbie" (nee Golden) Hampe, he would live his life as a resident of Glen Burnie. Nick is a graduate of Cardinal Gibbons Catholic High School, of which he was very proud, and a former student of St. Philip Neri Catholic School. He earned a Bachelors of Science degree from University of Baltimore in the field of Tech Gaming and Design, something he always loved. Nick was a history buff and was able to retain a wealth of information of historical significance and also enjoyed movies and reading. He collected model trains throughout his life and was dedicated to his computer and gaming
Nick will always be a loving son, brother, uncle and grandson. His courage and tenacity to push forward will be remembered by all.
Surviving Nick is his beloved parents Bruce and Debbie Hampe and his loving sister Megan Hagner and her husband Christopher. He will be missed by his beloved grandmother, Margaret Hampe as well as numerous extended family and friends. Nick had a special affection for his dear niece Leah Hagner for who he always had a smile. He is reunited with his cherished grandparents Norman Hampe and Frances and George Younger who predeceased him.
