Mollie Alberta (McCowan) Scott

On September 22, 2021, Mollie Alberta Scott (nee' McCowan) went home to be with her Lord and savior.  She was 88.

Born in Washington D.C., the daughter of Everett and Mollie (nee' Brown) McCowan, she would eventually settle in Glen Burnie in 1976 following a life as a military wife.  She would travel with her husband Harold (late), from duty station to duty station during his 22 year Air Force career.

Mollie was a dedicated homemaker and loving mother who served her husband and family as modeled by her faith.  She continued her vocation through to her grandchildren, for whom she dearly loved.  

It was said,  "Mollie couldn't live with out her bread and butter in this world."  One wonders;  Did the Lord greet her on the other side with a grocery bag in hand?........She is not gone, she just graduated.

Mollie is survived by her devoted daughter Deborah Marie and husband Patrick Lee Thomas.  Her legacy continues in her beloved grandchildren, "Buddy" W. Young III and wife Brandi, Heather M. Young and significant other Shane Sarantinos and Samantha Young and her significant other Joe Proctor, as well as step grandchildren, Patricia Sibinski, Melinda Paxton, Jason Thomas, Amber Mehr, John and Jacob Thomas.  She is fondly remembered by her great-grand children Dean Proctor, Joseph P. Proctor, IV, and Breanna L. Gamber and 12 step great and 6 step great-great grandchildren.
