 Lula Montez Cole

 

 Lula Montez  Bennett  Cole   was born on Feb 4, 1943 in Lavonia Georgia  and Departed this life on January 10, 2019 at age of 76.  She was  the daughter of  Joe Bennett and Mavis Alewine  of Westminister  South Carolina .     She is predeceased in death by her younger Sister Bennett Cockrell.  

She was  a graduate of Carolina High School in Greenville, South Carolina, class  of 1960.   She attended Spartan Nursing School and graduated as  RN in 1965. She was CNA in Senior citizens.   She is survived by her loving husband  Reed Hazen Cole  who she met  in Chattanooga Tennessee while she was working at  Erlanger  Hospital   They married on August 10,  1973 and moved to Los Alamos New Mexico where she worked at the Los  Alamos Medical Center and also University of Virginia Hospital when the family moved to Charlottesville Virginia.

June 10, 1974,   Reed  Cole Jr  and Mr. and Mrs.  Brian Bennett Cole of  Prescott Valley Arizona  and  Meredith Bower Cole Earls  March 22nd of Prescott Arizona, born in 1979.    She is survived by Grandchildren  Tristan Lynne Cole of Glen Burnie,  Kathleen  Margareta Mavis-Cole of  Lexington Kentucky,   Britton  Linear Cole of Prescott Valley, Arizona,  Emily Cole  of Prescott Valley, Arizona. Claudia Marie Nixon of Prescott, Arizona,   Adina William Earls of  Prescott,  Arizona . 

  Montez was the past President of the Annapolis Cedarettes  of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon of Annapolis  Forest.    She was a member of Annapolis Women of Moose  Lodge  661 serving at Treasurer and  awarded the Academy of Friendship Award.      She served as an officer of Harundale Youth Sports, was a Clemson Fan,  and loved  reading, country music  and  grandchildren and her family and  family games she organized.
