Sadly, on January 2, 2022, Kathrine M. Harris (nee Cluster), affectionately known as "Kathy," passed after a protracted illness. She was just 64.
She was born the daughter of Edwin Sr. and Ethel "Betty" (nee Mueller) and lived in Dundalk until her teen years. She would live for a time in Catonsville and ultimately settle in Halthorpe following her marriage. Kathy married her boyfriend of two years, Michael S. Harris and together they would build a life and raise a family. Their love affair would span 30 years.
Kathy was known as the "Matriarch" of the family and "the other mother" to many. Always the entertainer, she would bring the family together at the central gathering place which was her home. She was a connoisseur of wine and enjoyed bowling, knitting and reading. She also took to the sport of archery. Of all these things, Kathy preferred to be with family most.
Surviving her are her children April Willis and husband Tony, Michelle Harris and spouse Nick and Amanda Barton and husband Kevin. Her memory will be cherished by her grandchildren, Marlon Jones, Kaylie Klausing, Brianna Willis, Cassidy Smith and Kayleigh Willis. Kathy will be dearly missed by her loving sister and best friend, Barbara Carson, sister Shirley Davis and brothers, Edwin Cluster, Jr, and George Cluster. She joins her brother Richard Cluster, Sr. in passing. She is loved by a sister-in-law and 2 brothers-in-law, 11 nieces and nephews and 7 great nieces and nephews. Her cat "Simon" will mourn Kathy's absence. Kathy is united in passing with her beloved "Rusty" the dog.
