Sadly, on January 31, 2020, Joseph William Keller, Jr., "Willie," went home to be with the Lord. He was just 50.
Born to Joseph W. Keller and Carmelita Grimes he would spend his entire life in the Glen Burnie area.
He was raised by Carmelita and Joseph Grimes (late), a man he considered as "Dad."
"Willie" worked as a general contractor in the construction trades and could do all manner of home improvement. He was and avid hunter, boasting 5 trophy mounts of whitetail deer. He also enjoyed spending time on his boat and liked crabbing. He was a "guys', guy," it was said, yet he was at ease with children, often being found seated at the "kids table" at family get-togethers. He loved to hang out with the children and share his belief in Jesus with them. In fact, "Willie," was quite zealous for sharing the Word. He Preached the gospel passionately to as many as would listen. He shared in a jail ministry and also reached out to the homeless providing for their physical and spiritual needs. He followed the preaching style of his favorite Pastor, John Piper and shared the Word accordingly.
William is survived by his dear wife of 13 years Faith Bubba as well as his children Kimaya and Elek Keller who he desperately loved. He leaves his loving sister Deanna Wright and beloved step-sister Shannon Burch to lament the loss. "Willie" will be missed by his cherished friend Mike Leinbach for many days to come. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephew and friends.
