James (Jim) Patrick O'Meara, born June 3, 1960 went home to rest in a room prepared for him by his savior, Jesus, on October 16, 2022.
Jim is predeceased by his parents John Raymond O'Meara and Ellen Louise Wheatley and his brothers George, Dennis and John. He leaves behind a son, Michael John O'Meara and wife Mary and granddaughters, Marlee, Madelyn and Maizley and his daughter, Mandi Lepold along with his siblings, Sharon O'Meara, Thomas O'Meara, Debbie Watts and many wonderful nieces and nephews and friends.
Jim worked in the auto sales industry throughout his career but most recently for Mobility Works who provides Accessible Vans and Adaptive Equipment to the disabled and he loved it. He worked fervently to help and assist those in need. Jim also took up playing golf in the past few years and, like his enthusiasm for life, he jumped in and played with zeal and passion on many golf courses near or far often wearing his colorful knickers and tams.
Jim was a compassionate and loving man who always helped those in need. He was a loving father, grandfather and brother, but first and foremost he loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jim was a member of the Church on the Rock in Millersville, Md.
The family would like to thank Jim's many friends and prayer warriors who lifted him up in love over the past year and Hospice of the Chesapeake for their compassionate care keeping him comfortable in the last days of his journey to Heaven.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday October 21, 2022 at 7 PM at the Church on the Rock, 649 Old Mill Road, Millersville, Md. 21108. Pastor John Krach presides.
