Henry Grady McCoury, Sr.

   Henry "Grady" McCoury Sr., age 91.5 of Manchester, Maryland, went home peacefully on Friday, 5 February 2021 at home surrounded by his family.
Born on 2 June 1929 in Senia community of Avery County, North Carolina, he was the youngest son of the late Mackie Huey and Maude McKinney McCoury.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Lee McCoury and daughter, Nancy Lee McCoury.  Also preceding his death were his sisters; Winnie Jones, Bernice Woods and Jennie McCoury and his brothers; Zellian, Lonnie, Frank, Carson, and Johnnie McCoury.
Left to cherish his memories are his son, Henry Grady (Jake) McCoury Jr. of Suffolk, Virginia, and grandsons, Jacob and Benjamin McCoury.  Also his daughter, RuthAnn McCoury of Manchester, Maryland;  and grand-daughter Pamela Miles and husband Ryan of Mt. Airy, Maryland and his great grandchildren, Ryan, Kelley and Reagan; and grand-daughter Melissa Cristofaro and husband Brian of Manchester, Maryland and his great grandsons, Brandon, Luke and Ben.
Grady also left to cherish his memories with nieces and nephews in Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio and Florida.
