Sadly, on December 2, 2022, Gracie Lee Bowles (nee Sands) passed. She was 85.
Born the daughter of Bud and Bessie May (nee Roberts) Sands in Martinsville, Virginia she would become a South Baltimore native and eventually live in Pasadena. She would spend her final days in Westminster.
Gracie was married to her dear husband William Bowles, Jr., in 1953 and spent 20 years with him until his passing in 1972. She was very dedicated to her family and enjoyed family trips, as well as reading the Bible and romance novels. She enjoyed listening to music and liked to talk to people.
Surviving her is her loving daughters, Donna Chaney and husband Wayne and Angel Schlossenberg and husband Matt, her devoted sons, Adrian E. and wife Carol Bowles and Brian D. and wife Colleen Bowles. Gracie will be cherished in the memories of her grandchildren, Stacey Hydorn, Stephanie Ward, Matthew Bowles, Andrea "Andy" Bowles, Adrian J Bowles, I, Christina Page, and Michael and Emily Beth Schlossenberg. Her great-grandchildren, Ryan, Brody and Greyson Hydorn, Adrian J. Bowles, II, Zeke Eugene Bowles and Nathaniel Page will fondly remember her. She will be missed by her brothers Ronald and Kenneth Sands. Gracie is reunited in her passing with her beloved son, Timothy L. Bowles, her dear great-granddaughter, Jessica "Jesse" Ward and her siblings Elizabeth Hardison and William Sands.
