Frederick F Kriner, Jr.

Frederick F. Kriner, Jr., age 80, passed away on August 11, 2023.  He was the dear son of the late Colonel Frederick F. Kriner, Sr. and Kitty nee (Bowman) and beloved brother of Robert Kriner and wife, Barbara Jugler Kriner,  J. Alexis Stevens and  the late Thomas G. Kriner.  He was also the cherished uncle of 1 nephew, Joseph Samuel Kriner and  wife, Jamie Wagonhals Kriner.

Frederick was born in Kentucky and relocated to Maryland in 1956.  He joined the United States Air Force during the Viet Nam war. During that time he traveled extensively.  After he was honorably discharged, Frederick worked for the Department of Defense and Giant Food. Among his many interests, He enjoyed spending time with his nephew white water rafting,  Fred's hobby was photography, and he shared many pictures of these travels, with family and friends.  His other hobby was gardening, and he volunteered with the Lions Club to maintain various community spaces.

Fred was a voracious reader. and was interested in all subjects, especially history.  He enjoyed touring historic and cultural places, which he documented with his camera.

He was a great supporter of the St. Jude's  Childrens' Hospital

He will truly be missed....
