Sadly, on November 25, 2022, Eleanor May Cookerly, (nee Tuckey) passed at the age of 86.
Born the daughter of George and Almira (nee Tolson) Tuckey, she grew up in Govans and came to reside in Glen Burnie in 1956.
Eleanor, an avid bowler, worked for Fairlanes for 15 years, played in Duckpin leagues maintained a 170 average and was the Secretary of the Women's Morning League. She also enjoyed gardening and travel but her dear love was caring for her beloved grandchildren. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and friend to many.
Surviving Eleanor is her devoted husband of 66 years, William Edward Cookerly and her loving son Brian Cookerly and his wife Terri (nee Molz). She will be cherished in the memories of her grandchildren Michael Cookerly and Katie Parks and her husband Alex and great grandchild Noah Parks. Eleanor is survived by numerous nieces and nephews on both the Tuckey side and Cookerly side. She is reunited in passing with her siblings "Dottie" Johnson and George and Earl Tuckey.
