Born in Baltimore, Maryland to Garth Rochester and Irene (nee Brewer) she spent most of her life in the Glen Burnie area.
Donna was a homemaker for many years occasionally babysitting until she returned to the corporate work environment. She was employed with Kmart for a period of time as a sales associate before moving onto WalMart where she was a Floor Supervisor and spent most of her career thru retirement.
Donna also found a passion for volunteering with Hospice of the Chesapeake after her father fell ill and she also went thru her personal battle and overcame breast cancer.
She loved her family and her friends and her grand-dogs. She shared on numerous occasions her children were her reason to go on everyday. She devoted several years to caring for her mother after retiring until her mother passed. She had a passion for the beach and fond family memories she would always reminisce about; days of camping or the kids growing up at home, family time at the pool, and running the kids to sporting events. She was a mom to many of the neighborhood kids. When she returned to the working field she wanted to help earn a living and add to the household. She met some friends that became lifelong friends for her and she loved being around people. She took pride in her work and loved to share it with others.
Surviving her are her children, Vestacha Shuvani, Cynthia Lee Dunn (nee Cummings), Ronald Randolph Cummings, Jr, and Richard Hugh Cummings. Donna is the beloved sister of Carmen Lott (nee Rochester). Beloved mother in law to Michael John Dunn, Sarah Elizabeth Mullis and Megan Noel Hansen.
