On May 20, 2021, Robert W. Jackson passed surrounded by his loving family. He was 84.
Born in California the son of Harvey and Ethelyn Eileen (nee Baldridge), Robert would live in many places finally settling in Millersville.
Robert is a retired Chief Warrant Officer 4/ Machinist who retired from the United States Coast Guard after 25 honorable years of service. He holds the USCG Commendation medal from his service.
Following retirement Robert worked as a Facilities Engineer with Gould Electronics and holds the distinction of being Facilities Engineer at Oriole Park. In his leisure time Robert enjoyed spending time with his family and was an avid RVer. He and his wife Cherie travelled extensively and had many adventures .. He also enjoyed reading, particularly Tom Clancy novels. He built a wonderful home in the woods of Millersville where his children currently enjoy the fruits of his labor.
Surviving Robert is his dear wife Cherie and four beloved daughters, Theresa Kahler, Diane Hemphill, Leigh Brindle and Suzanne Parsons. He will be cherished in the memory of his loving grandchildren, Christopher Kahler, Shawna Hemphill, Robert Hemphill, Trevor Brindle, Codi Brindle and Jamie Parsons. His legacy will live on in 7 great-grandchildren.
