William Nelson Chalfont, age 79, passed away on January 6, 2015.  He was the beloved husband of Dolores Mary (nee Wengert), dear father of Jeffery Chalfont, Lorraine Coupples and her husband, David, and the late William Joseph Chalfont, loving brother of Doris Blankenship and the late Mary and Robert James Chalfont, devoted grandfather of Brandon, Chris and Joe, Buster, Matt and John Morgan, Jeff, Nicole, Kevin and Joe R. and devoted great grandfather of Kylie. Bill was born in Bedford, Pennsylvania in 1935. He moved to Glen Burnie, Maryland in 1957 where he was a resident for 58 years.  He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force before becoming a long haul truck driver, where he received safe driving awards. Among Bill's many interests, he enjoyed golf and he worked at Crofton Commons Golf Course as a groundskeeper.  He also liked to watch NFL Football, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family. He will truly be missed.... The Celebration of Life memorial service information will be provided at a later date.
