Virginia "Ginny" Claire Irvin, age 93, passed away on August 1, 2015.  She was the dear wife  of the late Frederick Charles Irvin, beloved mother of Lisa Sauter, Frederick "Denny Irvin and the late Gary Kent Irvin and devoted grandmother of Shannon and Lauren Sauter. Ginny was born and raised in Elizabeth, PA.  She was the youngest of 6 children. After her high school graduation, she moved to Baltimore where she worked at Westinghouse during World War II. She later met her husband and moved to Arundel Hills.  She joined the local United Methodist Church where she like to sing in the choir.  Ginny was also a member of the Friendship Club and often said the opening prayer. She was a volunteer at the American Red Cross and Project Compassion. She always wanted to help the disabled and the sick. Among her many interests, Ginny enjoyed sports, especially swimming, gardening, decorating and being outdoors. She will truly be missed.... A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
