Uthalee Lorette Speal, "Kitty", a resident of Glen Burnie, died Friday, September 20, 2024 at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Ruxton in Towson, MD.  She was 91 years old.

She was born in Lickcreek, WV to the late Luther E. Caperton and Mary Keaton Caperton.  She worked in the printed circuit facility of Aerospace Division at Westinghouse for 40 years and received many awards with Valeta Johnson (deceased) for their suggestions on how to improve work in  their department.

Kitty's interests included traveling, watching the Orioles and walking.  As one of the Marley Station Milers, she logged over 12,953 miles.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Joseph Speal, siblings Virginia Caperton, Sylvia Grandstaff, Ilene Stewart, Junior Caperton, Bonnie Novak, Mildred Jackson, Charles Caperton and Sybil Shultz.

Kitty is survived by one sibling, William Caperton and wife, Beverly of Eldersburg, MD, several nieces, nephews and close friends.
