Thomas "Tommy" Duane Gell, age 70, passed away on December 31, 2017.  He was the beloved husband of 42 years to Kathryn"Kathi" (nee Krupnik), devoted father of Shawn Christopher Gell, Jennifer Lee Longmore and her husband, Thomas Wilson, dear brother of Stephen Gell and his wife, Pea, Mark Gell and his wife, Lori and Tara Adlesic and her husband, Rick, loving grandfather of Aubrey A. and Gavin T. Longmore and cherished uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Tommy was born in St. Louis, Missouri and his family relocated to Maryland in 1960.  After living in Randallstown, he settled in Severn and raised his family.  He proudly served his country in the United States Navy as a Boatswain's Mate on the USS Kitty Hawk during the Vietnam era.  He earned his business related Associates degree and enjoyed a successful career in the sales industry. Among his many interests, Tommy enjoyed vacationing in Ocean City, traveling to Jamaica, golfing, bowling and meeting at Snyder's Willow Grove Restaurant with his family and friends.  He was a member of the Maryland Candy & Tobacco Association.  Tommy was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather, and loved spending time with his family. Tommy touched many lives and will truly be missed....
