Obituary

On June 2, 2025, Thomas Woodrow Campbell, Jr, "Tom," passed away following a protracted illness.  He was 70.

Tom is the son of  the late Thomas W. Sr., and Erma (ne'e King) Campbell and a lifelong resident of the Severn area.  He is a graduate of Arundel High School, Class of 1972.  Following his formal education, Tom apprenticed and learned the trade of a heavy equiptment mechanic.  He would work as a mechanic from 1972 until  2014, finally retiring as a Supervisor of Mechanics.  Tom was a simple man who poured himself into his work and had a passion for fishing, particularly offshore fishing.  He was a Trustee on the Board of Operating Engineers Local 37 as well as a former member of the Pasadena Senior Activity Center.

Survivng Tom is his devoted wife of 47 years, Clare Adele (ne'e' Torney) as well as his beloved daughters, Melissa Knecht and husband Jason and Jennifer Everett and husband Bryan, Jr.  He will be cherished in the memory of  his loving grandchildren Makayla Knecht and Bryce and Brayden Everett.   His sister-in-law Patricia Tiller and husband Charles will fondly remember Tom.   Finally Tom is reunited with his dear Golden Retriever "Bear" who preceeded him.
