Theodore Frank Hercha, age 76, passed away on March 12, 2014.  He was the beloved husband of Mary Lou (nee Campbell) and the late Betty A. (nee Spencer), dear father of Kimberly Ann Bowman and her husband, James B. and Karin Amy Hercha, loving brother of Ronald S. Hercha, devoted grandfather of Lisa Marie Fields and her husband Jonathan and Alesha Nicole Elchin and dear great grandfather of Zoey Simone and Jazmin Fields. Ted was a resident of Glen Burnie since 1964. He proudly served our country in the US Army where he was a tank mechanic and was stationed in Germany for 3 years.  He was a member of the Curtis Bay Athletic Club and the president of the Laryngectomy Club.  He enjoyed fishing and crabbing and loved animals.  Ted also volunteered at schools promoting non-smoking. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 14 from 3-5 & 7-8 PM at Fink Funeral Home, 426 Crain Hwy S., Glen Burnie, MD 21061 where services will be held immediately after the visitation.
