Obituary

On February 3, 2025, Thelma F. Carder, (nee' Ebert) of Glen Burnie passed at the age of 96.

Born the daughter of Theodore and Thelma I (nee' Ensey) Ebert in Baltimore she would live on Calhoun Street from 1961-2018.

In her early years, Thelma worked for Manger's Meat Packing.  She was proud of her accomplishments due to her slight stature and the difficulty of the work.  She then worked on the assembly line at Solo Cup retiring after 30 years.

Thelma was fond of board games, dominoes, "penny ante" poker, 10 pin bowling and corn hole.  She particularly liked to play bingo, enjoyed dancing the "Jitterbug" and was quite a singer.  Collecting owls was a passion and she amassed a diverse and plenteous hoard. Thelma thought the world of her grandchildren and supported all of them in their sporting events and was present at every holiday and family gathering.

Thelma is reunited with her husbands of 30 years each, John J. Feeley and George Carder and is survived by her beloved daughter Beverly Ann Decker (David "Rip" late) and devoted sons  Charles W. Feeley and wife Cynthia Lee ( nee Claypoole) and John J Feeley, Jr.  She will be missed by her brothers, Charles and Donald Kwedar and joins Theodore E. "Bunky" and Nathan Ebert in passing.  Thelma will be cherished in the memories of her loving grandchildren, Cheri D'Alessandro and husband Mike, John Feeley and wife Samantha, Stefanie Marcuse and former husband David as well as her dear great-grandchildren, Olivia, Lucas, Jordan, Colten, Brayden and Abigail.   She will be deeply missed by her best friend Frank Kelly.  Finally Thelma has rejoined her beloved pets, "Samantha" the cat and "Crystal" the poodle.
