Scott Christopher Galarneau, age 42, passed away on October 26, 2014.  He was the beloved son of Edward Galarneau Sr. and Sharon E. Cumberland, dear husband of Laura E. (nee Crapse), son of warmhearted step dad, William Cumberland, devoted brother of Edward, Jr., loving uncle of Breeanna Galarneau and great uncle of Erica Stewart and Jaxson Wheeler. Scott was born in Watertown, New York in 1972. His family relocated to Glen Burnie in 1975 and he graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 1990.  He worked as a mechanic on heavy machinery and was employed by Komatsu, Inc., formerly know as Midlantic Machinery.  Scott was very talented at his job.  He was a crew member of NHRA Drag Racing at Capitol Raceway as well as venues in other states and Puerto Rico. Among many of the things that Scott enjoyed was being a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.  He also was interested in history, especially regarding the Civil War and Gettysburg.  He liked watching movies, and his favorite was Smokey and the Bandit.  Scott had a special affection towards animals.  He loved his 4 cats and all others, especially wolves and eagles.
