It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sarah J. Dykes. She passed away peacefully at home under Hospice Care in the early morning hours of October 25. She is survived by her daughters Laura Dykes with her partner, Steve Smoot and Sharon Nellis with her husband, Frank Nellis, and her grandchildren Lori League, Melissa League, Alexander Utz, Perry McAtee, Andrew McAtee, Gavin Nellis, Ethan Nellis, Frank Nellis, and Kyla Wilson.

She is reunited with her parents, her husband, Matthew Dykes, her daughter, Tami League, her granddaughter, Gabrielle League, who have gone before her.

Sarah spent most of her nursing career at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore where she retired after 30 years. Sarah enjoyed watching Oriole games outside on her deck, knitting, reading, and watching NCIS. She had many pets but adored her cat, Reece Cup who will remain with family. Sarah was so deeply loved and will be missed by all who loved her.
