Ruby Pauline Cavin (nee Moore), age 94, passed away on June 9, 2016.  She was the beloved wife of the late Homer E. Cavin, dear mother of Kenneth Cavin, Sr. and his wife, Barbara, Larry Cavin and his wife, Millie, Shannon Cavin, Danny Joe Cavin and his wife, Lynn, Tommie Cavin, the late Wendell Cavin, Sr. and Helen L. Dancer.  She was the sister of the late Earnest and Claude Moore and loving grandmother of 14, great grandmother of 44 and great great grandmother 15. Ruby was born and raised on a farm in Tennessee. She came to Maryland in 1955, retired to Rose Hill, Virgina then came back to Maryland.  She was an assembly worker for Nevamar Plastics until 1975 when she retired.  She was a woman ahead of her time, while raising 7 children and holding down a job. She was a member of Van Huss Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and canning fruit, but more than anything, she loved spending time with her family.
