Rose Mary Sheffer (nee Riccitelli), age 87, passed away on June 16, 2016.  She was first married to Angelo Contrino, then beloved wife of the late Alan Sheffer, dear mother of Angelo Jr. and his wife, Mary who was "like the daughter she never had", Carl, Paul and David Contrino, the valued stepmother of Cherie Himmelebber, Cindi Sheffer and Howard Sheffer. She was the loving sister of  Toni Biddinger and the late Jean Trionfo, and devoted grandmother of 17 grand and numerous great grandchildren. Rosie was born in Baltimore, moved to Belair and then relocated to Glen Burnie before settling with her son and daughter-in-law in Homosassa, Florida.  As a career, she was a talented seamstress for Joseph A. Bank and Company before retiring. Among her many interests, Rosie enjoyed cheering on the Ravens and bantering with Mary Contrino because she was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.  She also liked watching the Orioles, playing poker and dominoes, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She will truly be missed....
