Propst, Sr.
November 16, 1935 – January 6, 2020
On January 6, 2020, Robert Edward Propst, Sr, passed away. He was 84.
The son of Edward Jackson, Sr. and Bessie (nee Richards) he would spend his entire life in the Baltimore-metro area.
Robert served in the Navy during the Korean War era. His lifelong vocation was working for Baltimore Gas Electric as electrician for many years. A giving person, he was a member of "Santas Helpers, Inc during the 1980's, an organization dedicated to bringing Christmas to under privileged children.
Robert joins his dear wife, the late Violet Ann (nee Muncy) in passing.
He is survived by his beloved daughters, Barbara Tarr (Zeigler, IL), Annie Mills (Zeigler, IL) and Lori A. Propst and her fiance' Don Barker, Jr. (Essex) as welll as his loving sons, Robert E., Jr. and his wife Amanda (Arnold), Edward W. and Curtis Lee Propst. Robert leaves several siblings, including Darlene Ring (Cumberland), Sandy Marquez (Cumberland), Edward J., (Clayton, NC), William P. (Catonsville) and Leroy O. Propst, Sr. (Shinnston, WV). His dear daughter Gail Weber and sisters Betty Bull and Hope Pearce preceded him. His legacy is fulfilled with 15 grand and 7 great-grandchildren.
