Robert Dryden Lane, Sr., age 83, passed away on December 20, 2013.  He was the beloved husband of Martha Lee (nee Simmons), devoted father of Gary W., Robert D., Jr. and Jerry Lane, Diana L. Nichols and Nancy Bibeault, loving grandfather of Jimmy Martin, Matt and Brandi Bibeault, Gary and Shelby Lane and Tracey Coe, dear great grandfather of Makayla Lane and Max and Jack Bibeault and caring brother of Lee Holloway, Jerry Lane and Betty. Bob was born in Crisfield, Md.  His family moved to Baltimore and later he settled in Glen Burnie in 1958. He worked as a truck driver for Esskay Meat Company. He enjoyed listening to music, painting and crabbing.  Bob and his wife, Martha had fun traveling  around the United States together and occasionally taking trips to Florida with his family when they were younger. He was a fan of the Baltimore Ravens and the Orioles too.  He was also very talented when it came to fixing cars and doing projects. He was a hard worker and liked to keep busy. The family will receive friends for a Memorial Service on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 12:00 PM at Fink Funeral Home, 426 Crain Hwy S. in Glen Burnie.
