Robert Edward "Ed" Pasik, Sr, passed away on February 22, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer, leaving behind his dearest friend and mother of his son, Laura Ann Knott. He was born January 6, 1956 in Baltimore, MD, son of the late Frank Pasik, Sr. of Pittsburgh, PA and Wilma Faye (Wright) Pasik of Kentucky. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, Robert E., Jr., grandson, Cody, and granddaughter, Serenity Pasik of Baltimore, MD. He will be sadly missed by his family; his brothers, Frank Pasik, Jr. (Shelly) of Melbourne, FL, and Melvin Thomas "Tommy" Pasik (Heidi) of Erie, PA, and his sister, Patricia Sadler of Chester, South Carolina; nephews, Jason and Frank Pasik 3rd of Melbourne, FL, Clifford (Rachelle) Sadler of Parkersburg, WV, Christopher (Rachel) and Carl Pasik of Erie, PA and nieces, Valerie (David) Lemon and Laurie (Jim) Amos of Parkersburg, WV and Donna (Daniel) Rodriguez, Marilyn Boring, and Amy (Joseph) Gertz of Erie, PA.
Mr. Pasik was a lifelong resident of the Glen Burnie area and a member of the International Longshoremen's Association # 333, where he worked at the Port of Baltimore for 15 years.
Eddie had many pleasures but his greatest joy was spending time with his son, Rob, dirt bike riding. He enjoyed hunting, crabbing, and fishing and especially loved to paint. He always laughed when talking about playing "hearts" as a kid with his brothers, Frank and Tommy.
Ed was laid to rest by his beloved mother's side at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Brooklyn, MD on March 9, 2013.
