Obituary

Robert (Bob) Lee Dehn, a long-time resident of the Arnold/Severna Park, MD area, was struck by a car in Severna Park on January 4, 2016, and died of his injuries.  He was 51 years old.  Born in Baltimore, he was the son of William F. Dehn, Sr. and Mieko O. (Edico) Dehn. He attended Severna Park High School. Bob was a kind, caring, and very giving person who was passionate about his beliefs.  He was always happy and greeted everyone with a pleasant smile and friendly laughter.  He was purposeful, driven, compassionate toward and protective of all living things.  He selflessly helped others.  For example, he donated his new leather jacket, believing someone less fortunate needed it more than he did. He liked rock music and excelled in weight lifting in high school.  He treasured his shoes which carried him on countless walks wherever his feet would take him.  He was very tidy and enjoyed cooking, especially for his family members.  He loved pizza and chocolate milk, and made the best curry rice and grilled cheese known to man. Bob frequented the public library, and liked writing his thoughts.  He was a driven man with strong convictions who worked hard.  Bob LOVED his Harley Davidson leather pants.  In his later years, he very much liked reading his Bible and enjoyed sharing his favorite scriptures with friends. Bob is survived by his parents, William F. Dehn, Sr. and Mieko O. (Edico) Dehn of Severna Park; three brothers: Marion E. Dehn (Jody Limbacher) of Cape St. Claire, Lloyd G. Dehn (Karen) of Annapolis, and William F. Dehn, Jr. (Stacey) of Severna Park; as well as two sisters: Naomi E. Dehn and Melissa E. Dehn of Baltimore.  His nieces and nephews include Nathan Limbacher of Panama City, Florida, Katie Limbacher and Chelsea Limbacher, both of Cape St. Claire, Charles Dehn, Christina Dehn, Casey Dehn, Riley Dehn, and Bill Dehn, of Annapolis; and Darrious Dehn of Merritt Island, Florida. A memorial gathering will be held at Fink Funeral Home at 426 Crain Highway South, Glen Burnie, Maryland 21061, this Friday, January 15, 2016, from 11:00 to 12:30, where a eulogy and brief service will begin at 12:00 Noon.
