On February 4, 2017, Robert  J. Cope, Jr. passed at the age of 62. Born to Sirena nee Galusca who survives him and the late Robert J, Sr., he spent most of his life in the Glen Burnie area, recently retiring to Stevensville on Marylands' Eastern Shore. "Being a police officer was Bob's life," and he gave 28 years to the Baltimore City Police Department retiring Sergeant from the South-West District.He briefly worked as a contractor for the ATF Baltimore Field Office. Bob's true passion was shopping for bargains and clearances for himself, family and friends of whom fondly associate him with KMART's "Blue Light Specials."  Yard sales and fleamarkets were a close second.  When he was not otherwise engaged he took time fishing and hunting. Bob is survived by his wife and friend Wanda nee Martin and is preceded in death by  Susan D. Wright his 1st wife and the mother to his children, Robert J. III and spouse Amy and Thomas L. Cope.  He is also survived by his step children  Kristie A. Sipes and Michael E. Finneran.   He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Bobby, Kayden, Jayce and Xavier.
