Jeff" Jefferson Brady, Sr.
September 10, 1945 – November 25, 2021
Sadly, on November 25, 2021, Richard "Big Jeff" Jefferson Brady, Sr. passed after a lengthy illness. He was 76.
Born the son of James and Mary (nee' Copeland) Brady in Bowie, he would spend most of his life in Northern Anne Arundel County.
"Big Jeff," was a member of the United States Army for a time during the Vietnam era. Later he would work in the construction trades as a drywall contractor. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and boating and going on long trips. He was also a member of American Legion Post 40 in Glen Burnie. Richard was very funny and had a sarcastic sense of humor. He was also known to be very direct. He will be remembered as a loving father, brother-in-law, grandfather and great grandfather.
Surviving him are his life partner of 20 years, "Cookie" Hankins and his devoted children, Richard "Little Jeff" J. Brady , Jr. and wife Kandy, Lynn Quiver and husband "Don" and Kristi Brady Watson. He will be cherished in the memories of his beloved grandchildren, Eric Brady, Johnathan Quiver, Brandon Quiver, "Adam" Quiver, Jacob Watson, Nathan Watson, Alyssa Watson, Emily Watson, Mason Brady and Bailey Abreo as well as 9 great-great grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his sister-in-law Jeanie Giddens. Richard is the last of his siblings and is united in passing with sister Elizabeth "Betty" Hall and brothers James, Larry and Rodney Brady. He is also preceded in death by his former wife and friend Sharon Brady (nee' Gravatt)
