On Thursday, August 16, 2018; Rev. Frank Grafton Phelps, Sr., 92, of Gambrills, Maryland, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Chesapeake Hospice House.  He was born in Baltimore, Maryland on September 7, 1926. He was married to Mima Marie (Johnson) Phelps in 1946, in Baltimore, Md.  Rev. Phelps was a World War II veteran, serving in the Navy aboard the rescue ship USS Antaeus. He is survived by his loving and dedicated son Rev. Frank G. Phelps, Jr. and his wife the Honorable Judge Nancy C. Phelps. One grandson, Brian Phelps, his wife Amanda Phelps and great grandchildren Joshua Phelps, Sarah Phelps MacPherson and her husband Colin MacPherson.
