Sadly, on April 20, 2026, Raymond John Tonder passed following a brief illness. He was 82.

Born the son of Raymond J., Sr. and Ruth Tonder in New Castle, Pa. He would later live in Glen Burnie where he finally settled. Ray earned a Bachelor Degree in business management, was a member of the Prinston Presbyterian Church and was a member of Our Lady of the Fields Catholic Church as well. He enjoyed gardening, golf and reading and gave generously to the church. Ray preferred helping other parish members when ever he could.

Surviving Ray is his dear devoted wife Ruth M. Tonder his beloved son Luis Tonder and three cherished grandchildren, Jacob, Kelly and Ryan. He will be sorely missed by his sister Jean McClymonds.
