Pearl Lee McCoury (nee Davis), age 82, passed away on October 4, 2016.  She was the beloved wife of 64 years to Henry Grady McCoury, Sr., dear mother of Henry "Jake" G., Jr., Ruth Ann McCoury and the late Nancy Lee McCoury, devoted grandmother of Pam Miles and her husband, Ryan, Melissa Cristofaro and her husband, Brian, Jacob McCoury and Benjamin McCoury.  She was the loving great grandmother of Ryan, Kelley and Reagan Gallagher, Brandon, Luke and Ben Cristofaro.  She was also the sister of Patricia "Patsy" Lanham and her late husband, Cliff, Barbara J. Brown and her husband, the late Harry, Ann Hallinan and her husband, Michael and the late Benjamin H. Davis, and sister in law of Winnie Jones. Pearl was the owner of Hilltop Daycare Center from 1973-1981 then became a real estate agent from 1982-1990 as well as being a Notary Public.  She was a Girl Scout Leader and a Sunday School teacher as well as Bible School.  She was very involved in the various churches that she attended.  She loved camping, boating, fishing, planning family events and entertaining, cruising the Caribbean and the North Atlantic as well as travelling throughout the USA and Europe, doing international shopping and negotiating price, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. She will truly be missed....
