Norman Eugene (Gene) Burkins died on Sunday, December 26, 2021 in Baltimore, MD.  Gene was born February 2, 1938 to the late Stanley J. Burkins and Gladys M. (Hodge) Burkins.   Gene retired from Reliable Contracting, Gambrills, Md as a truck driver. Gene is survived by his niece, Audrey (Gary) Pearce and sister-in-law Betty M. Burkins of Fawn Grove,  great niece Nicole (David) Golden, Fawn Grove, PA and Cher (Robert) Sprenkle, New Park, PA.  He is also survived by two great-great nieces Katelyn and Kara Golden and three great-great nephews Nicholas, Ryan and Joel Sprenkle. Graveside services will be held on January 3, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Glen Haven Memorial Park,  Ritchie Hwy, Glen Burnie, MD
