Nancy Lou Bratcher (nee Stewart), age 77, passed away on January 26, 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late William Joe Bratcher, dear mother of William J. and his wife, Mary, Michael R. and his wife, Deborah, Randy T. and his wife, Tina and Nancy K Waitt. She was the devoted grandmother of William J., Andrew T., Zachary M., Abigail Bratcher, Renee Howe, Michael, Gabriel A. and Autumn T. Bratcher, Shaina M. Rober and Matthew R. Spoone and great grandmother of Caleb Rober and Isabella Spoone and loving sister of the late Raymond Stewart.
Nancy was born in South Baltimore then relocated to Anne Arundel County where she was a lifelong resident. She was a teacher of 7th & 8th grades at Calvary Chapel Christian Acadamy and in 1989, along with her late husband, William Joe Bratcher, founded their own business, Dove Linen, which they started out of their home. The business has been handed down and now run by her son, Randy Bratcher and her daughter, Nancy Waitt.
Among her many interests, Nancy enjoyed reading Christian mysteries, working at her church and she loved to travel.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Fink Funeral Home, 426 Crain Hwy S. in Glen Burnie.
Interment: Crownsville Veterans Cemetery
