Nancy Emily Mekins, age 63, passed away on November 21, 2014.  She was the beloved wife of the late William J. Mekins, Sr., dear mother of Scott and Bob E. Mekins and Darlene Spindler, loving sister of Frankie, Johnny and Ronald Schultheis, Janet Armstrong, Brenda Copenhaver and the late Mark Schultheis and Beverly Laur, devoted grandmother of Ashley, Ariel, Candace and Tori Mekins, Heather Spindler, Robby and Sarah Mekins. Nancy was born in Baltimore, MD.  She was a member of Shelbourne Baptist Church in Arbutus.  She enjoyed reading romance novels, arranging flowers and listening to country music, especially Alan Jackson.  She loved decorating for the holidays and getting her family in the spirit of the season.  Her children feel that she was the best Mom in the world. She will truly be missed.... The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM at Fink Funeral Home, 426 Crain Hwy S. in Glen Burnie, where services will be held on Wednesday at 11:30 AM.
