Sadly, on April 1, 2022, Morris Karl Hopkins, Jr. , "Hooch" passed unexpectedly at his home. He was 36.
Born the son of Morris Karl, Sr.,(late) and Gloria (nee Thompson) Hopkins(late), he would be a life long Glen Burnie resident.
"Hooch" worked as a contractor in the home improvement industry focusing on remodeling and concrete work. He was an avid sports fan who loved to watch Ravens football and Orioles baseball and enjoyed playing cards and cornhole. In his youth he was a motocross racer. Recently "Hooch" was a member of Narcotics Anonymous where he was working his program and enjoying the fellowship of the others in the group. He was loved by many and will be missed.
Surviving him are his beloved sister McKaila Hastings and his brother Sied Dante' Hopkins. He leaves his loving aunts, Cynthia Price and Anita Hopkins, Kim McKnew and MJ Vollnogle, as well as cousins, Stanley Price, Aryanna, Rayne Mandee, Destanie, Aubrey Kaylee and Alyssa, Frankie, Shelli and Jesse Hopkins, Tristian McKnew, Laynee, Arron, Arianna and many more. He is reunited with his uncles Mike Price (Cynthia), Frank and Jesse Hopkins and grandparents Calvin and Beverly Thompson in passing. Hooch's close friends, Matt Santangelo, Mike Bowen, Eric Johnston and Meredith Wade will deeply miss him. His memory will forever be cherished by his dear friends, who were like family, Brian and Lauren Calvert and his best friend James George.
