Mary Jo Smith (nee Stafford), age 72, passed away on November 7, 2014.  She was the dear mother of Mary Sue Rummery, Rita Ruth Stafford, Chrystal Dawn Gale Pack, beloved grandmother of Bruce, Sarah, Christine Nicole, Jacqueline Monique, Christopher Lowell,  Meghan Pack, Nathan Florio and Haden Lindsey, beloved great grandmother of Bryson L., Mia, Madison and Jackson. Mary grew up in Greasy Creek, KY.  She moved to Highlandtown, MD and eventually settled in the Glen Burnie area where she lived for the past 50 years.  She earned her certificate as a Nursing Assistant and was a volunteer for Senior Helpers.  Mary enjoyed traveling, shopping and crocheting blankets for her friends' newborns.  She was a dedicated mother and grandmother and was a free spirit.  She always loved her hometown in Paintsville  "Greasy Creek", KY where a memorial service will be held in her family cemetery.  Further information may be obtained by emailing Mary's daughter at packchrystal@yahoo.com.
