Mary L. Cooke, age 93, passed away on January 13, 2016.  She was the beloved wife of the late Richard Nesbitt Cooke, Sr., dear mother of Richard Nesbitt Cooke, Jr., Albert J. Cooke, Sr., Mary Jane Benstein, Patricia Howes, Theresa Miller and the late John F. Cooke, loving sister of the late Frank Reed, devoted grandmother of Marnie Kadakel, Devan Wyatt, David Cooke and 12 other grands and 14 great grandchildren. Mary volunteered as a Eucharistic Minister, RCIA volunteer, Sunday school Principal at Holy Trinity, drove for Meals on Wheels, volunteered at NCEON (North County Emergency Outreach Network), and was a member of the Franciscans.  She had a great love for people and animals.  Mary was a stenographer in 1940,  played guitar in a band, taught school at St. John's in Hydes, Maryland, sold Real Estate for Pullen and Paul and went on to become a broker for Remax.  She and her husband loved to dance and watch the horse races.  Mary had 6 children, 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren whom she loved dearly. The family will receive friends for a Mass of Christian burial on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Glen Burnie. Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery
