Sadly, on January 8, 2025, Marlene  A. Marconi (nee' Slagle) passed at the age of 79.

Born the daughter of Stanley and Freida (nee' Smith) Slagel in Devon, England, she would return to the United States 77 years ago, living in Rockville and settling in Severn.

Marlene was a daycare provider for over 40 years and was passionate for her career.  She was a member of the Harley Davidson of Ellicott City club, enjoyed vacationing at Ocean City, Md., liked to spend time at the pool and generally liked outdoor living.

Marlene is reunited in passing with her dear husband John Marconi (2007) and is survived by her beloved daughter Kristina Marconi and loving sons, Thomas Marconi and Scott Marconi.  She will be cherished in the memories of her siblings, Diane Hall, and John Slagle and joins sister Marie Ferro and brother Michael Slagle in passing.

Her legacy continues with 10 grand and 10 great grandchildren who will miss her.
