Mardell L. Loane (nee Dietrich), age 92, passed away on December 20, 2015.  She was the beloved wife of 60+ years to the late Frank Loane, dear mother of Frank W. Loane, Connie Culbertson and Mardell C. Williams, devoted grandmother of 5 and great grandmother of 4 and "Mom" to her beloved boxer, Bruce. Mardell was born in Baltimore, MD in 1923.  When she married, she and her husband bought a home in Pasadena where she lived for 64 years.  Mardell enjoyed traveling with her husband, sight seeing and going to museums together.  She liked to watch her "soaps" while raising her family and said that the characters were her "friends that came to her living room each day".She was very particular about how she kept her home, and she was a very dedicated family woman. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM at Fink Funeral Home, 426 Crain Hwy S. in Glen Burnie where services will be held at 7:30 PM during evening visitation.
