On July 19, 2018 Lorraine Mae Thompson (nee Miller) passed after a lengthy illness surrounded by loving family and friends.  She was 92.

Lorraine was born in Altoona, Pa., to Herbert R. and Edna (nee Bookhamer) and moved to Glen Burnie in 1956.  She is the devoted wife of the recently late Charles O. Thompson, Jr. with whom she spent 72 wonderful years.  During that time, Mrs. Thompson enjoyed many past times, including bowling and rug hooking and also square dancing and travel with her beloved Charles.  She was also a dedicated Christian and member of the Glen Burnie Baptist Church.

Among those who will miss her are her daughters Cheryl L. Ritz wife of the late Edward , Yvonne J. Thompson, sons, Gary L. Thompson and his spouse Janet L. and the late Charles O. Thompson, III, husband of Margaret  "Peg" Thompson.

Surviving her and continuing the family legacy are 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grand children.
