Obituary

Juan Antonio Molina, age 88, passed away on July 15, 2014.  He was the beloved husband of Esther (nee Diaz), loving father of Juan Antonio, Jr., Irene M. Marin, Evelyn B. Molina, Leticia O. Tabor and Linda Reddinger, dear brother of Hector and Jose Louis Molina, Maria Torres, Olga Reyes, Ada Molina and the late Louis, Leonardo and Manuel Molina, Victoria, Nilda, Lydia and Carmen.  He was the devoted grandfather of his first grandchild, the late Mark Anthony DeLeon, and survived by Matthew, Danny, Arlene and Rebecca Marin, Michelle and Michael McGee, Zachariah Morris, Robert DeLeon, Jessica Banta, Luis and Lyncka Maldenado, Amy Torres and Mauri Jr. and Robert Reddinger.  Juan was also the cherished great grandfather of Selena, Robert Jr., Hannah, Abrianna, Mark, Gariel, Isabella, Jackson, Laveyah, Leland, Isaiah, Parker, Latham, Caleb, Elise, Micah, Alexa and a baby boy on the way in August. Juan was born in Puerto Rico and settled in Maryland in 2002.  At 17, he served in the Merchant Marines.  His actual first job was in New York until 1975.  He was a Maitre D' in several high end restaurants and was an accomplish salad and dessert chef.  He served many celebrities.   He was very committed  to the Catholic Church, serving as a Eucharistic Minister.  He did volunteer work at St. Joseph Catholic Church in New York, many times leading prayer of the rosary.  Juan dedicated his life to Jesus Christ in 1984. Among his many interests were gardening, Mets and Orioles Baseball and Baltimore Ravens Football.  He also enjoyed Latin dancing, in which he competed during his younger years where he met his wife of 65 years during a competition, playing cards and dominoes, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 18, 2014 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at Fink Funeral Home, 426 Crain Hwy S. in Glen Burnie.  A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 7436 Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd also in Glen Burnie at 11:00 AM.
