Josephine R. Gurney (nee Branham), 91, of Pasadena, passed, on August 5, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.

Born to Schyler and Mealie (nee Johns), she was one of nine siblings who grew up on a farm in Amhurst, Va.  She came to this area in 1940 and worked for a time in retail sales.  Josephine was married to the late John T. Jr. for 62 years and is survived by her loving son John T. III, and his wife Mary Helen.  Her hobbies included gardening, sewing and crafts.  She was devoted to her grandchildren Anne McCain and husband Darryl, Christina Edwards and spouse Spencer as well as her great-grand children Zavian and Darryl McCain and Rhys, Celia and Macey Edwards.

She will be sorely missed........
