On April 23, 2018 John Thomas Hodges,"Tom,"  quietly passed after a lengthy illness.  He was 84.

Tom was born of William L. and Alice (nee Rothage) in Baltimore and resided in "Pigtown" for his early years.  He later joined the U. S. Army serving honorably and then was a career fire fighter With BWI Fire, retiring after 35 years.  As a second career he became a home builder and contractor.  Tom was supported by his loving wife of 50 years Janet (nee Ramsey) who sadly preceded him in death a decade earlier.

Tom is survived by his loving daughter Sandie L. and husband Dean Rhodes, his  dear son Brian M. and wife Connie as well as 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.  He will also be missed by his 4 surviving sisters and 2 brothers.
